Sponsors & Volunteers are needed to make 16th Annual Babylon Village Classic a success. The Dirty Sock Run is our biggest annual fundraiser for local food pantries and soup kitchens. Each year we are able to provide thousands of dollars of support to those in need because of the generosity of our sponsors and volunteers. Today's Program, The Borgen Project - Gwynn Mak visited our club to share about the mission and focus of The Borgen Project. The Borgen Project believes that leaders of the most powerful nation on earth should be doing more to address global poverty. Formed in 2003, they have created an innovative and national campaign that is working to make poverty a focus of United States foreign policy. The Borgen Project and Rotary International share several areas of focus such as Newborn, Child & Mother Survival & Access to Clean Water & Sanitation.
