Babylon Rotary Club recognized Arbor Day more than 50 years in a row. We dedicated our meeting on April 8th, 2026, in preparation of the national observance of this Day. Alice Hageman, a Rotarian from Babylon Beach House, share our club's experience in donating about 2,000 Norway Spruce saplings to first graders in area schools, each child then individually plants and cares for one or more of them. Our past president Scott Lockwood created this video in 2022 to advise and inspire the children from elementary schools about the value of Arbor Day, and on the importance of conservation.
